Is anybody an esthetician?

So I want to be an esthetician but I cant find out, do you have to/should you have some community college experience at first or can you go to school for esthetics with a high school diploma and no college?

Here in Texas I'm going for Cosmetology and Esti. I just needed my diploma and transcripts and got in. I'm not sure if it's like that everywhere.

I've been thinking about it. I'm not sure about the education qualifications but I'm one semester away from having a bachelors degree
