Hi ladies, I was just wondering about losing my mucus plug. I have been dilated to 2 cm for 2 weeks. I just started losing my mucus plug last night. I figured I had already lost it since I have been dilated for so long and my doctor stripped my membranes a week ago, but I'm sure this was it. How is it possible that I'm just now losing it, but I've been dilated for so long? I figured once dilation starts, there's nothing to keep it in? I don't know. That might seem like a crazy thought. Thanks!
