how early is to early to test

Hey y'all I'm a type one diabetic and my fiancé and I have had sex several times over the past three weeks multiple times sometimes on the same day this Saturday will mark 3 weeks from the first time we started trying with him coming in me every time we've had sex, my question is how early is to early to test I took one last week and it was negative but this week I've been extra emotional body aches exteamly swollen and sore boobs af isn't due for another week and a half or so, but today I noticed very faint light pink spotting but nothing super crazy... Should I take a test this weekend or just wait and see if af comes
