When should I start buying baby stuff?

I'm 4 weeks pregnant and not sure when it is normal to start buying baby stuff.

Last year before I knew I was pregnant with our daughter (who was stillborn at 5months 3days) I got some bottles in a pack that came with their own sterling container it was on sale at target so we got it not knowing if I would or could breastfeed (my mum said she could breastfeed my older sister she said she wasn't a good cow lol).
I also got some reusable nappies and had started making a baby blanket. Got some second hand baby cloths.

I have started working on the blanket again since testing positive our first doctor appointment is 13th Dec according to Glow I will be 8w2d and I'm already thinking about cots and car seats

So far what I did on the blanket last year.

In having a difficult time to NOT buy baby stuff right now lol but I'm going to wait to buy the furniture until I know the gender. But pacifiers and diapers and breast pumps when I'm done my next doctors appointment

With my first I bought stuff as soon as I found out it was viable and we had a heart beat at 8w (I have a history of an ectopic pregnancy). I didn't buy much, a couple onesies. I did start couponing for diapers though and had a great stockpile when my daughter was born. For this baby (if it's viable) I'm going to wait until I know what it is (boy/girl), if it's a girl I won't have to buy much, a boy we have to start over (clothing wise that is)! No reason to hide your excitement. I couldn't NOT get a few things this early one. Makes it feel more real :)
