clomid and diabetes
Hey. I've been prescribed clomid by the fertility clinic. I have the tablets in my possession. My diabetic specialist at the fertility clinic won't let me take them until I've lost 2.5 stone, even though the fertility guy has already signed me off and provided them.
The diabetic specialist is insistent my bmi should be 30. It's currently 34.
I have these tablets, I'm hitting 36 in March. Shall I ignore the diabetic specialist and take these tablets?
My diabetes is under control and carefully monitored.
Diabetic specialist : Her reasons being the weight will make my diabetes uncontrollable during pregnancy. Is this true??
I'm just so sick of waiting for 3yrs to now be advised I need to lose weight, I'm panicking as time is against me.
To add I'm type 2.
