Anti-depressants + Birth Control?

So, I'm currently taking anti-depressants, Lexapro to be exact. I've been taking them for a few months now and things have been going well but I'm now wanting to start taking birth control as well and I'm wondering how they'll interact while being taken together. I'm obviously going to see my Dr. and ask him about it but I just wanted to see if anyone on here had any experiences with them taking anti-depressants along with bc and what kind of effects it had on you if any.
