It should really be called an estimated due date. You can really go anywhere from 4 weeks early to 2 weeks later than what they tell you. And I mean those are average, there are plenty of people that had preterm labour and premature babies. Giving birth on your actual estimated due date is the exception, not the rule.

My first daughter was born at 39 weeks. This time around I'm due the 23rd, measuring closer to the 26th, and Hubby and I both say she will come on the 21st :) lol we shall see! I am anxiously awaiting her arrival!

It can happen but it isn't as likely as you going over. Most first time moms go over and some come early. A due date is just a guesstimate so be patient, mama 😊 baby will come soon!

I'm pregnant with baby number six. Only one of my five was born on my due date. Another one, I went into labor at 11:30 pm on my due date but she was born the day after. I'm hoping this one comes next week!
