spectra cycle, vacuum and expression?

I'm so lost! Just received my pump today and the book doesn't explain anything about the options. It looks for the clyle options are 38,42,46,50,54. Than the expression button buts it on 70. Than the vacuum options are Lo1-5. Would anyone mind to share what their recommendations ?

I have the spectra s2 and haven't used mine just yet (c-section on July 10, 2017) but there are YouTube videos on this pump also that might help. I'm more of a visual person and the videos helped me understand way more about this pump. Also I was told that my LC will know more also sense she was the one who recommended it to us.

That has really been the only con about the spectra unfortunately the instructions and directions suck.... I haven't used it yet

I talked to my lactation specialist when I first got mine.  The wavy lines are for let down.  I typically run for about 2 min. On that, then switch to the normal vacuum. The numbers are meaningless.  (They mean the speed of the vacuum) Basically, try them all out and pick the one that's most comfortable for you.
