Dots ...... around your Boobies (areoles )

Are dots around your areoles a sign of pregnancy? I'm just curious. I've had like spots where they are now for years but now they are like out there. Like a pop out book 😂 I just really want to know if pregnancy is the only thing that causes this to happen?
