why does my bum hurt?!

OK so this is kinda weird. And I don't really know where else to ask about it. So everytime I sit down, stand up, or change positions(pretty much anything) it hurts. It's not really my butt, but like the very bottom of my back as it meets my booty. And it's only in the center that it hurts. And it doesn't hurt when I press on it or touch it so I know it's not a bruise. And it doesn't look any different. Bit it hurts really bad and it's been terrible for the last week. Does anybody have any idea what it could be or what caused it?

You might have bruised your tailbone...I've done that a few times and it sucks for a while😂

Oh that's true maybe it isn't it...although when I bruised my tailbone it hurt to just walk and basically move like you were describing.

bruising usually hurts when you physically press on it with like your hand or something. I've had a bruised tailbone before and this isn't quite it. I just woke up one morning with the pain.

It sounds like something causing sacroiliac joint pain. It's where your spine meets your pelvis is that joint and that sounds like the spot to me? Sacroiliac joint pain can cause lower back pain and pain in your buttocks (layman's terms). I've gotten pain there usually like that when my joint is out of place and needs to be popped back in. I would talk to your doctor or go so a chiropractor if your doctor thinks it could be something of the sort. There are other causes of sacroiliac joint pain that I am not aware of, that's just my experience
