Preeclampsia anyone have experience?

I have been having bad swelling but BP has not been 140/90 or higher but have protein in my urine. I am told they will not schedule induction but I'll be 39 weeks Monday so I am down as an elective induction so I can have my doctor... anyone have experience with this? Not scheduling induction just because my BP is not high enough even though have protein in urine...?
