amoxicillin

So I have been sick for the past 2 weeks and have had terrible sinus infections. I just went to urgent care and the doctor told me amoxicillin was fine during pregnancy... has anyone else had to take it? I truly didn't want to be on medication during pregnancy but I feel so gross
