Ultimately....yes. We tried from April 2o15-December 2015 unassisted. Then from December to ~June we did 3 rounds of Clomid and 3 of Femara, maxing out doses both times. Then my doc talked to a specialist who suggested a Clomid/Steroid combo....and we got pregnant on our 3rd round! We are due in July :) Don't give up! I know its HARD sometimes....but the feeling when you get the positive tests...or especially the first ultrasound make you even more grateful and appreciative of what you have💝

Yes, tried natutally for 2 years then took clomid after being unsuccessful, first time taking it took 8 months, had a mmc at 11+3, tried on my own 2 months after mmc with no success, took clomid for the 2nd time and only took 2 months

With my eldest, I did 3 rounds of Clomid, ovidrel and iui. I did 1 round of clomid/ovidrel/iui and 2 rounds of follistim/ovidrel/iui and conceived but miscarried. Then I conceived after 1 round of follistim/ovidrel/iui with my youngest.

I'm on my third fertility journey. I did one follistim/ovidrel/iui, one hybrid follistim-letrizole/ovidrel/iui, and the ended up conceiving spontaneously. That ended in mc. If I don't get a cycle in the next few weeks,  we're going to do letrizole/ovidrel/iui again.

Yes.  We tried naturally, with cloned, naturally again, clomid with metformin, before finally going to an IVF Clinic.
 
We did 3 monitored cycles with heavier fertility medications, and then our first IUI.
 
With the help of metformin, Follistim, and the Lupron trigger, we were very lucky to concieve on our first try.   29 weeks today.
 
It is important that you work with your doctor though.  PCOS is not the same for everyone.  Your doctor will do multiple tests and try different methods to find which one works for you.
 
I personally was not ovulating.  I had low FSH, and slightly elevated testosterone.  The IVF Clinic did the three monitored cycles ($1500 each month approximately), just so we could figure out WHAT worked.  Our IUI and all the medicine and montiroing ended up being around $3000 (includes 5 weeks of monitoring the fetus afterwards).
