Hoschimotos Thyroiditis or hypothyroidism?

Does anyone have experience with either of these and infertility, or getting pregnant and carrying and full term? We haven't been trying long enough to know if my fertility had been effected. I've done a ton of research and it's a scary thought that we could really struggle because of this.

I have Hashi's. It caused me to mc before each of my children.  Now I'm struggling to get my levels back in range as I'm going in for a tubal reversal soon. You can carry to term just be sure to be diligent on your doctor's orders of medications, diet (ie: no gluten etc) and get your labs frequently checked.

I have Hashimoto's. Got pregnant at 40 with no fertility treatment and had a successful pregnancy. As long as your labs are stable it should not affect your fertility. It's important once you're pregnant that your OB or endocrinologist monitor your labs every 4-6 weeks and adjust your meds if needed. If your labs go out of whack it increases your miscarriage risk. My meds never had to be adjusted, but it's not unusual for the dosage to be increased 20-50% over the course of pregnancy.

I have hashimotos. I was diagnosed a year ago. We did get pregnant with our 5th and we ended up with a stillbirth, however it had nothing to do with my thyroid. She had 2 cord torsions. With that said, if your levels are good you shouldn't have an issue with pregnancy.

I'm hypothyroid. If you're on meds for it, it won't affect your fertility at all-- I got pregnant my first month TTC. You do have to keep on top of your meds & blood levels though!
