Too soon?

There's this guy in my class (we are in our last year of college)

He's been really nice the past 2 and a half years. Decent kind of guy.

But recently we started getting closer you could say because he and I both went through a nasty breakup ironically in the same week the end of October. We both got dumped because our significant others wanted to sleep with other people and not be committed. Weird huh?

Since then we seem to talk a lot more and text more and hang out more.

My best friend seems to think he's interested in dating me but I've never seen him that way. I've seen him as a friend from school who is on my team for paintball. Like I never read into this.

But he's been flirting a lot more it seems. We spent a whole day downtown shopping and see the sights in Toronto yesterday. A few days before that we went to the movies and he took me out to dinner. I did offer to split the bill but he insisted on paying.

Is it too soon to pursue a relationship?
