PSA: PERIOD/DISCHARGE STAINS
I didn't realize how many ladies didn't know this trick. WHen you have period stains or discharge stains on your underwear and you just toss it in the wash I find they become perma-stains. 
This may just be a Latinx/Black cultured thing but I've always done it and want to share.
(1) When you hop in the shower bring in a bar of soap (designate a bar just for your undergarments) and your dirty underwear.
(For demonstration purposes I washed after my shower)
(2) lay your underwear flat so that the inside is facing up
(I'm sorry this is graphic omg)
(3) take the soap and rub the area on both sides of the underwear, then take your fingers and press the soap into the fabric.
(If you have a bar of soap that has been worn down to the point it is in pieces use it instead of throwing it out)
(4) if you are able to stick your fingers inbetween the fabric in that awkward area of the underwear I'm not sure what is for and rub the fabric between your fingers.
(5) rinse and voilà.
If you have a "did I just get my period/piss myself" amount of discharge like I do then this will be life saving, with discharge stains you have no time frame. With period stains you have 48 hours for optimal results you can still get the stain out past that but I just find it to be easier within the first 48.
I would've shown the demonstration on a bloody mess but currently don't have any and I was already in their doing that so. It works wonders and if you do this every time you shower and bring whatever you've accumulated between the shower times you will never have that "I'm running out of clean underwear" moment.
Also bring some fabric cleaner (I put some in those empty travel size shampoo bottles from the dollar store and just leave it in the bathroom) into the shower and after you use the bar soap to rid of stains just apply some of the fabric cleaner.
I know this isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea but for me this is routine and I've never had to "sacrifice" underwear over to my period and I've never had that embarrassing stain from discharge and had to toss a pair of underwear.
