Did being plus size delay the time you felt your baby move?

I'm 15 weeks and I haven't felt my baby, while other women have. I'm just wondering if being plus size has anything to do with me not being able to feel the baby move. Anyone want to share their thoughts or experiences?

I'm 300lbs and felt flutters the first time around 14 weeks and then constant movement from 16 weeks on. It might take a little longer to feel them from the outside but not inside.

I was a size 14 with my daughter and I didn't feel her until 19 weeks. 15 weeks is still a little early, even for smaller women. Some of my "skinniest" friends didn't feel their babies until 16 or 17 weeks. I'm a size 16 and 17+4 now and I've felt little nudges (ones that I wouldn't have known were baby as a first time mom) for almost three weeks, and finally felt an actual kick last night.

Most women don't feel anything until the mid-20s, especially for first timers.

I'm plus size and felt her flutters starting at 18 weeks. Her movements progressively got stronger, and fast. I'm now 30 weeks and you can see and feel her move, roll, kick and punch her way around. Midwife said she's a very active baby. 😍

Your uterus doesn't have excess weight, so no. It doesn't make a difference. :)

I felt my baby move for the first time on 20 weeks 1 day. Could visibly see it after 24 weeks. And I'm 5'7" and 250 lbs. :)

Nope! I actually felt baby flipping around 11 weeks-- confirmed durning an ultrasound at my dr office. Granted, it's VERY infrequent and I don't feel it every day.

I'm in the same boat, size 18 and 19 weeks pregnant and nothing. I get cramps here and there, OB says its round ligament pain, makes me nervous so I got a Doppler. Doppler helps put me at ease because I hear the heartbeat and I know it's alive, it keeps me sane at least until the next OB appointment.
