For anyone who is or has a child born within a week of Christmas; what do you do to make sure the birthday is special and doesn't get grouped together with the holiday? Our baby was born 12/22/15. With her 1st birthday approaching I'm beginning to see the curse I've heard about with Xmas birthdays where the birthday is celebrated with Xmas instead of getting their own special day. She won't care this year but I want ideas how to separate the holiday from her bday for future years. My other child (sept bday) gets practically a whole week that's all about him so it's only fair our Xmas baby gets the same.
