When is the best time to take a pregnancy test for accurate results?

Today should be the last day of my period, but it hasn't even started yet. I know it's too soon to test right now, but how long do I have to wait? A week? Two weeks?

I got my first positive 4 days before my period was actually late. 
Some tests you can test 5 days before or 6 days before. Most are 5-4 days. 
Anyway, you can definitely test now! 
You do not have to us first morning. You're actually pretty late, so if you're going to get a positive, you're going to get a positive no matter when you test.

You're aloud to test up to 5 days before your missed period. And it gets more accurate the later you test... why would you think it would be too early to test?! Haven't you seen any pregnancy test commercials ever in your life? Haha
