Paid Maternity Leave for Arkansas State Employees
The State of Arkansas now has paid maternity leave for state employees. Really awesome but what about the rest of working Moms who don't work for the state? Hoping this is a move to get it for everyone because if my taxes pay for this, I should get the same treatment when I finally get pregnant. Hmmmm
Edit: some of you are taking this post wrong, I love that this is happening, I just hope it happens for EVERYONE, not just state employees. Obviously taxes pay for and I don't mind that, but if the public pays for maternity leave and it comes out of our checks, we should get the same benefits as these women. :)
