I was talking to my mother about my upcoming birthday and I mentioned that I couldn't believe I was going to be the age I'm going to be when it comes up, and she looked at me strange and said "That's not your age" and she told me I was wrong and that I'm a year younger than I thought I was?! My age never really comes up so I guess I just thought I was a year older than I actually am, and I wouldn't be so shocked over it since it's just one year but the worst part is that all of my friends and my boyfriend of two years thinks that I'm also a year older than I actually am just because that's what I thought. How am I supposed to tell them? I'm so afraid my boyfriend might think I just lied about my age or something, but I really didn't know. I moved around as a child a lot and I don't remember a lot of it so maybe that's where I got mixed up. I just feel really bad, I don't know how I'm supposed to tell him. Any advice is really appreciated.
