How many times a day are you getting baby food?

How many times a day should I be given my lo baby food? I normally do a lunch and dinner. Should I be given her breakfast to at 7 months? I don't want to over feed her but I don't want to under feed her as well.

I always do a breakfast, then will do either a lunch or a dinner, so typically I only feed my lo twice a day, since all the nutrients come from breastfeeding or formula. My lo is also 7 months

I was just doing lunch and dinner but at our 6 month appointment, her doctor said I should be giving her solids for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So she gets oatmeal cereal for breakfast, around 6-8 oz of baby food for lunch and 6-8 oz of food for dinner. She also gets around 24 oz of breastmilk a day.

I do the same thing. Lunch at 12 and for dinner at 6. Every other time it's breast milk. The doctor says most nutrients come from the breast milk or formula until they are a year old and it should be the primary meal at this age. She just turned seven months :). I think he said nine or ten months we could try three times a day.

My baby loves solid food so we do 3 meals a day

I do twice a day...baby is still not eating much solids so until she eats better I see no point in offering a third time a day...my dr says there's no right or wrong with timing of number of feeds. I think with my first by 8 months we were doing 3 times a day.
