Winter Weather Woes
I go to college eight hours from home and my darling man. This week is finals and tomorrow, Thursday, I have one more test to take, but it's later in the afternoon and I'd rather not drive too late at night. So, my plan was to go home Friday and I was so excited.
See, my boyfriend and I made all these plans of what we could do while I'm back for break. Baking, movies, cuddling, cute couple shit. I was super hyped and…Well…
I'm in northwest Nebraska right now. Home is in South Dakota near the Minnesota border. It's supposed to be negative temps all weekend with 3-5" of blowing snow.
My looked forward to journey home is going to be delayed by three days at least. Now I feel so bummed I don't want to do anything. All because the weather had some uncanny timing.
I just want to go home and hug my boyfriend… pet my cat too.
