Vitex... anyone tried it?

I've been doing research on the vitamin pill vitex, it's natural and helps regulate cycles,pms, menopause and such thing as we as boost fertility! I've been really wanting to try it since I've been having irregular periods since I got of birth control in February and I'm now on month 4 ofno period and yes I've gotten test done and what not, no baby and everything else is in check. Has anyone else tried vitex and was it helpful to consive soon after starting?
