Braids?

My daughters are Native American and German, my oldest has The hardest hair ever to maintain (very thick and very wirey). I was thinking of taking her to a salon to have it braided. What do you ladies think? (I definitely DONT want to do it if it offends anyone though, hence why I'm asking!)

I personally don't see an issue with it especially since in Native American culture they wear braids. I would say as she is braiding her hair to ask questions of how to maintain it

Is your natural hair really straight? If it is your hair could just be way too silky and the extensions slide off. My hair is permed bone straight and everytime I get braids the slid right off in the back. I've had to use the rubber band method to keep them in

What texture is her hair? I have 3c curls that are wirey and once I figured out a care regimen, I was able to manage them.
