Spotting...my period or implantation bleeding????

Question

Today I noticed that as I wiped I had a bit very small amount of blood I am wondering is it my period because it is only 2 days away or could it be implantation because I have been trying to conceive and most definitely had sex during my fertile window ...I took a pregnancy test on yesterday but it was negative so I'm hoping we are having a baby but confused on what's going on here.

If AF is due in two days, likely it's too late for implantation bleeding at this point. That would've already happened at 6-10 dpo. Sometimes I'll get light tinged blood a day before my actual period starts. Wait for AF and if she doesn't show, take another test in a few days.

Well if it was implantation bleeding today, you wouldn't have gotten a BFP yesterday. After implantation is when your body starts ramping up hormones. You might try again in a couple days if you don't get AF.
