Help. Upset

So I got a new job working in a cafe. The only problem is the area it is located surrounding it is places known for meth. But the people that come in aren't druggies. They are nice little old people. My boyfriend wants me to quit because of the area, but I was lucky to get this job and I have stuff to pay for. He stopped telling me he loves me and he won't kiss. He's mad at me cause I refuse to quit. I understand he is concerned that something will happen, but we close before it gets dark most days and no one walks out by themselves. I hate this argument. I've been in tears and I'm losing sleep. This has been going on for 4 days now. I've talked to my mom about it and he got even more mad that I talked to her and not him, but every time I try to talk to him he gets upset about the job. I don't know what to do and I'm drained. I'm working two jobs plus I take him to work and him. All that on top of this arguing I am so tired. Please give me suggestions or your thoughts.
