do you wake up to pump if baby is asleep??

My lo has been sleeping 5 hours straight and then last night slept 7! So excited! When I woke up I was about to burst so I fed her real quick. But do you all still wake up to pump even while lo is sleeping? I'm worried my supply will go down if I'm not feeding or pumping for 5-7 hours straight but it's nice getting that uninterrupted sleep!

I don't, and my daughter sleeps 8-9 hours at a time and has for the last 5 weeks or so. By now I wake up full and pump after she eats her first feed to empty but not uncomfortable any more. Have not noticed any issues with supply at all, my body cut back on production overnight and just makes more during the day. On the off chance she is up at night i still have plenty to feed her.

I'm in the same situation. I have been letting myself go 6 hits and then I'll get up to pump. Honestly though, this is my 3rd child and I never did with the first 2 but for some reason this time I'm obsessed with keeping my supply up. Last night he woke at 2:30, I fed him, and pumped and still got 5 oz. 
I was thinking about evolution. Women hundreds and thousands of years ago had no pump. They most likely didn't wake their babies once they started sleeping (old saying...don't wake a sleeping baby) and we're still able to successfully feed their babies. I think your body and supply adjusts. So I think if you're looking to build a freezer stash, get up and pump. If not, enjoy your sleep!!

Our little guy slept 7 hours last night but at 5 hours I woke up soaked 😩 I ended up having to get up and pump and then had so much trouble falling back asleep. So brutal when you are finally given the opportunity to get a solid chunk! The only positive was being able to hand that bottle over to my husband for when he finally woke up to feed 😬

Nope. Your body will adjust to what baby needs. I do get super full when he sleeps long stretches overnight, but my supply hasn't dipped at alll. I produce more than enough for my 11wvold.

I've been letting myself go 6-7 hours after last feeding so I get 5/6 hours sleep. I wake up around 3-4 and pump almost 8 oz!! Getting some solid sleep, supply is good and I feel great!!

I make my focus on getting 8 pumps a day at least 2 hours apart. I can get away with getting up once at night. I usually pump around midnight and then not again until 6am or so.

I allow myself one 6 hour stretch at night. However I don't have to wake myself up to pump since my son wakes up in the night. I get up feed him a bottle then pump. So some nights I don't even get a 6 hour stretch.

I think it all depends on you. When my son started sleeping all night like that there were definitley nights I woke up leaking all over. He eats a lot more during the day, especially in the morning (makes sense). My supply hasn't changed at all, and I don't pump much anyway - he's a shit napper so it hasn't really ever become a habit for me. If you notice problems with your supply after a few nights of long sleep, then get up and pump so it's not permanent. I think 6-8 weeks is when your supply is established so you're probably either at the end of that window or just past it.

I don't. However, I have an over supply, only pump 4-5 times daily, and still pump between 40-50 ounces daily.
