Numb... has this ever happened to anyone?
First time it happened while I was working out... the left side of my head like by my temple area got really numb like I couldn't feel it. It was really scary. My husband said it happens because I drink a pre-workout drink w a lot of caffeine in it (Celsius). Second time it happened I was at work and the same numb feeling happened. It happens out of nowhere. I didn't have any caffeine... just a Normal day at work.
I had the drink today about 2 hours ago and went to the gym for over an hour. I just came home, and while I was eating my cereal... it happened again... on my right side though. Same spot, like on my temple area. It goes away, of course. This was just a while ago and it went away after maybe 15 minutes. I might still feel a little bit of it though. So in total this has happened to me 3 times already in about 5 months I'd say. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or if you think it might be the drink with the caffeine that is causing this?? I don't want to go to the doctor if I don't have to because I don't have insurance and it happens so rarely, but always goes away after a little while.
