Is it usual for PMS to come 2-3 weeks before?

Maybe it's a dumb question... 😳 but I've been feeling pretty bad these past 2 and half weeks - stomach aches mainly, bloated, headaches... 
I just found out that this could be PMS but I thought PMS only showed itself like a week max before the period 😯

It could be ovulation too - for those that experience symptoms with their ovulation week, they describe it similar to pms symptoms.

I ovulate n get little 2 day mood swing. Cramp n boobs hurt n get very wet. Stupid mid month pms.

I get ovulation pain two weeks before my period but its more just crampy ache to one side for 1 day. I don't feel sick or anything though.
