Any mommas have tips on doing a baby shower in a budget. It still feeling like you didn't miss out??

Do a pitch in for food. My sister had all my cousins and aunts bring their pregnancy cravings for food. Go light on the decorations. Hit the dollar tree  they have cute decorations and look up holiday deals for prizes. Targets dollar spot often has cute stuff that looks more expensive.

Don't knock Walmart and dollar stores! They have the same things as party stores for way less. Do finger foods like cheese trays, meatballs and fruit trays. But but I'm bulk from places like sams club and gfs it'll be cheaper. If you can, have the shower at your house or someone close to you so your not spending money on a hall which will save about $400+

Any decor that you already have use and get dollar store decorations. Host the Shower at a house instead of renting a space. Ask whomever to make things or do something light for food. We went with a Vintage Baseball theme. Ball Park food was the menu so we had a hot dog bar, chips, peanuts, bubble gum, popcorn etc... It turned out awesome.

We also did "tea party" food at both my showers - veggie tray, cheese tray, cookies,  and other easy to make and assemble stuff. One shower we had mini sandwiches and the other we had soup. My mom made this super easy cake for the shower she threw. It's just an iced layer cake with kit Kat bars around it and marshmallows for bath bubbles.

Hang baby clothes on a ribbon with clothespins - these were my old clothes that my mom kept from when I was a baby, but you could use stuff you already have for your little one!
