What is it like?? 
Im due on the 5th being induced on the 3rd! 
Tell me what to expect.. without scaring me lol

Were u dialated already ir not, if so hm cms?

If ur due on the 5th, why would u get induced 2 days before?  I was due on Oct 13th. I went a week over-41 weeks, natural labor. Unless ur baby or u are in distress, don't get induced..ur not REALLY over due until 42 weeks.
I've heard plenty of good induction stories and plenty of horrid ones.  For every good induction there is a bad one as well. .
Every case is unique and different. U could have had an induction with a previous pregnancy and it could have been perfect..doesn't mean this one will also be perfect..

Mine was horrible.. never again.. it took 27 hours of painful contractions because of pitocin.. my body wasn't ready to birth and I forced it too. Mine was for medical reasons but it was awful none the less..

I was induced 2 days past my due date. In my experience it's cause more problems than waiting for the baby to come ! They popped my water for me and I was in labor for 24 hours after 4 hours of pushing they dragged me into a c section. I feel if I would not have been induced I would have been able to push my son out.

Please be aware that inductions can cause problems. Longer labor, your baby's lungs might not be fully developed. Baby's lungs send a signal to the mother's body when they are done developing that causes your body go into labor!... Good luck!

If you have to you have to. If not I wouldn't recommend it. Labor sucks enough without drugs that make it harder and more painful.

Induced both times. First time was horrendous, he was 42+2. Over 36 hours labour. Second time, he was 41+3, born same day, no pain relief at all and was nearly 10lb too!

My induction was fine. I was induced for hypertension (was 220/150 during labor). I was only 37.5 weeks, dilated 1cm, 100% effaced. I went in at 5 and had my Cervadil at 630. My water broke around 1130. Got my epidural at 130 and then delivered at 730. Totally of 14 hours from start to finish. Had 0 complaints or issues.
