Is anyone else's mother in law super over bearing and kind of annoying? We (me more so than him, I don't think he cares either way) want to have a private delivery. His mom seems to be very pushy about being in the room and trying to make me feel guilty about it. This isn't her first grandchild or grandson for that matter, she's seen plenty of her grandchildren born. I told her and he has supported my choice I just feel she puts bugs in his ear about it all the time and I feel he's going to cave and just say OKAY FINE! I told him I didn't want him to even call anyone until the baby is born because I know how intrusive they can be. I just want to have a private peaceful delivery where my SO can enjoy being a first time dad without people getting in his way, and I know his mom will try to be too involved during everything going on. For God sakes she wore the same color as me to my baby shower !!!
