Private Or Public School for your child?

My kids are in public school atm and loving it, they absolutely love their teachers and have lots of friends and getting good grades, they're very confident and happy little kids. However we're planning on moving next year to a different town and my husband would like to enrole them into his old school which is private.

I'm choosing private for her pre K and kindergarten experience... I was bullied in public school and didn't get put in private school until 11th grade (yes I went through 6-10th grade of bullying) definitely don't want that for my kids but I won't act out of fear and not allow them to go to public school they will just be in private school unless I see they are unhappy or express interest in public school

Only public schools where I live in the UK they're all perfectly fine
