Where does your newborn sleep? I know at the hospital they are super strict with on back in open crib but honestly, how many babies actually sleep like that?? My son will only sleep on my chest at night. The first night we were home I tried to have him sleep on his back at first and when he wouldn't sleep I put him in the mamaroo and still wouldn't sleep! The second night he fell asleep on my chest and I was so exhausted I fell asleep as well. And now he sleeps wonderfully! Up every one-two hours to breastfeed and then back to sleep.
