Breastfed baby?

Can my breastfed baby use a paci, a bottle (sometimes) and still breastfeed normally? Any stories?

My son uses all of the above since he was in the hospital. He's one month now. I love that he takes his paci cause he doesn't comfort nurse that way and I love  that he takes the bottle  cause I can just pump before we leave the house and I don't have to worry about nursing in public.

Some babies yes can, but if you want to breast feed and bottle feed the baby can get nipple confusion and may pick bottle over the boob as the bottle will come out faster!

Yep. My daughter used a bottle the first two weeks while we corrected her latch. The doctors recommended a paci because it helped the prevention of SIDS according to them. She is seven months and still ebf (aside from solids).

Yes definitely!! And if your baby happens to get the nipple/bottle confusion... get a nipple guard! It's shaped like a bottle so your baby can still get breastmilk! Only like $5/$6!

My 6 week old takes anything remotely nipple shaped and had since day 1. She had low blood sugar when she was born so I had to supplement with formula from a bottle and she had what little colostrum I made directly from my breast (we were able to go strictly breastmilk (bottle and direct from breast) by day 4). She is also a comfort sucker so I started her on a paci at around 3 weeks and she goes back and forth between all sources just fine.

My daughter wouldn't take a paci or bottle at all but my twin sisters daughter is breastfeeding and paci since day one and is doing great. Each baby is different!

Yes my daughter was breastfed didn't take a pacifier right away which is good they say to wait a month after breastfeeding to introduce bottle or pacifier. Once my baby took to them she was fine with still latching on the boob

My breastfed baby won't take a bottle and she just got a pacifier that she likes a little bit but she still prefers me.
