Gone for delivery
Found out yesterday that my husband will likely be sent to accelerated National Guard OCS in February for 8 weeks and I'm due at the end of March with our first. After putting off having kids for 8 years so that he could finish up deployments with the USMC and then go to college we are both more than a little bummed he will likely miss the birth and first few days - weeks of our daughter's life. :(
Anyone else's SO have to miss the birth of their little one? Advice?
