advice?!? when did you tell your family

So I just found out yesterday day I'm pregnant! I got my blood work back, doctors are saying I'm around 4 weeks.. when did you tell your family/friends? I'm wondering if it's to soon and I should wait? My doctors app isn't until January 20th

My mom right away but everyone else at 14 weeks. It just depends if you want to tell everyone if it didn't work out. I've had a loss and don't want to grieve with everyone so I waited. I will tell all friends at 20 weeks after my anatomy scan

We told our families when I was almost 5 weeks. Announced on social media at almost 10 weeks.

I always thought I would wait until 12 weeks to tell anyone (except my husband, obviously) but we've been so excited that we told our parents only just a few days after finding out and getting a positive blood test. We told them though that they can't say anything until we're ready for everyone else to know. Just go with your gut! We have an amazing family, it's Christmastime, and we just wanted to share our joy!

When this time comes for me, I'm waiting to tell EVERYONE until after the 8 week doctor appointment. I want to be certain that everything is ok and on schedule before announcing.
