So last week, I had this weird thing happen with my eye sight. I decided that since I work at a school I would go to the school nurse and have my blood pressure taken. I am always 120/80 or very close to it. She took it and it was 145/91! Freaked me out. Check a. Couple more times through the day. Highest was 155/91. Called Dr and they wanted me to come in. I went and of course they sent me to L&d to be monitored and have more blood work done. Everything came back negative. I went back today for a follow-up and so Dr could see how my sugars were since I also have GD. Everything is good but he said he will be inducing me at 39 weeks due to my sugars, blood pressure and age (40). Also because we live kind of far from the hospital and traffic is he'll if we catch it at the wrong time. I happy to hear this as the last couple weeks can be hell. Just needed to get that off my chest. I am currently 28+3 so I guess I have 10 1/2 weeks left unless something happens before. Good luck to all! Sorry so long.
