Ok ladies so here is my story, about 12-15 weeks pregnant I was at the Emergency Room and they told me I had gallstones and they were only able to treat it since they didn't have any specialist to do surgery for pregnant women with gallbladder problems so I was in the ER every week or biweekly and just gave me tylenol with codeine 😔 so I was good for about a month in a half (11-18-16) (I guiltily ate white pizza Wednesday) and gave me pain so ended in the ER and was only given Pepcid and Sulfate (mind you not I'm in a fat free diet) and within that week Saturday night (12-17-16) got another attack and the same Dr that saw me told me I will be transferring you to another hospital outside the county that specializes in gallbladder for pregnant women and I was furious because why did they not tell me that since the beginning.. well he did transfer me Sunday morning unfortunately Dr at the new hospital told me if you would've been 18-24 weeks pregnant we would've done surgery but since you're 32 weeks the uterus is up high and we cannot because it can cause the baby problems and the anesthesia can cause preterm labor.. so they just have me with antibiotics for infection just in case of an emergency... whole point of story never give up and find specialists outside other than sticking to what your dr says get different opinions and go to different hospitals and call to check if they do certain procedures... now we'll be here for 2-4 extra just for monitoring... was also having small contractions but Dr also decided for me to get Bethamethasone for baby lungs just in case of an early delivery...
