What's your nightime routine?

My baby girl is 11 days old im wondering what your nightime routine consist of.
 Mine usually starts with trying to get my 2 yr old off to bed after hubby gets home from work. Them I'm up the rest of the night trying to calm a fussy baby.

When we are ready for bed, I start by setting up my nursing "station"at the couch. (ha that's probably so weird but I like being organized!) I make sure I have a burp cloth the boppy a book lol ready so I don't have to scramble around for them at night. I change my lo into her pjs, I use lavender essential oils on her feet, then I feed her and swaddle her to wake her a bit and try feeding her again. Then I turn on her sound machine for white noise and put her in her crib. She is breastfed, and wakes about every 2 and a half hours to nurse again. Sometimes I get  a bottle of my milk ready in the fridge and have my husband do a feeding when I am super tired. I don't have her on a schedule yet, but I usually start all that around 8 pm.

This is like the perfect routine and my only other suggestion is to let baby drift off to sleep and don't put them down fully asleep. Usually more when they get a little older it works better. This is almost my routine to a T.

I would wait a bit to see what kind of eating and sleeping patterns your baby naturally follows. I didn't try to create a "routine" until my daughter was 3 weeks old. At 5:30 I change her, put her in a swaddle, feed her, read a book with dad, and then put her down sleepy (but not fully asleep!).
