My boyfriend started having a 103° fever last night. No other symptoms other than a mild sore throat. He refused to take off work today because he doesn't get sick days. When he got home it was 104.2°. I told him to go to the doctor or urgent care or the hospital, but he said no because he's broke right now. Finally I got him to call a doctor's office and they said to come in right away or go to the hospital. He still thinks this is no big deal, but he's finally going.

I'm newly pregnant so I can't be around him with that kind of fever and I'm worried sick about him. So now I'm just waiting to hear how it goes at the doctor. Prayers would be appreciated! Also, does anyone know what would cause a high fever with no other symptoms? It must be infection, right?
