I have chronic kidney infections/UTIs. I am 4 weeks pregnant and I'm getting the feeling that I need to urinate but little to nothing comes out. I don't have burning or pain like I did with UTIs. I have cramping like a period which is normal and I'm EXTREMELY bloated. Is it likely that it's due to the pressure of the bloating? I used to take D-Mannose to prevent UTIs but stopped taking it now that I'm pregnant because studies have been inconclusive on whether it causes miscarriages or birth defects. Is the risk of a UTI more detrimental to the baby or the supplement IF I have a UTI. Any common symptoms?
