How long did you wait?

Question

I would be 6wks on Christmas Day.. but last week I started bleeding and cramping badly. They watched my hCG levels and yesterday found out they dropped immensely. So today I'm still bleeding and cramping. I'm truly heart broken but I also know my body and God knows what is right. My question here is, how long until we can try again? He wants to try again asap & so do I, but I'm nervous. I'm seeing my doctor Tuesday but my fiancé and I are curious about other people's stories & rainbow babies ❤️

**hugs** there is no right or wrong time. We had a stillbirth back on 9/20/16. We personally are in no rush to have another baby. Don't get me wrong, at this moment I have been thinking about having another baby a lot, but I know that has a lot to do with the fact that baby girls due date was 1/14/17 so now I'm just getting salty that I'm not going to have a baby to hold lol. Some people try right away, others wait. Tale it slow and don't jump into anything too quickly. I am giving myself time to grieve and I don't want to take the chance of having a baby born around the day our baby girl was born. Plus the next following months are crazy with birthdays and holidays and I really want a house lol. I'm sorry for your loss, if you ever need someone to talk to feel free to msg me.

I just got my cycle back! We are back in the saddle! I lost my baby also at 6 weeks! Letting my body heal through this cycle was the best thing I have done! I'm mentally ready if this happens again!

So sorry for your loss! We lost a girl @ 10w this summer and did not wait at all to start trying again. Two of my doctors said to wait one cycle and the other just for the bleeding to end. I've read that you are more fertile within 6 months after a misscarriage.  That has been true for me. I've had two misscarriages this past year and gotten pregnant shortly after each one.  Do what feels right for you, but don't feel you need to wait a long time to start TTC again if that's what feels right.

I'm sorry for your loss, after my miscarriage I became pregnant again after one normal cycle. My doctor recommended waiting three.
