Now, I'm pregnant again, and was told at our first ultrasound that our baby was measuring 5w6d and was supposed to be 8w3d. No heartbeat. A week and a half ago, we went for a follow up ultrasound which revealed it had only grown a day in a weeks time. Still no heartbeat. We know a miscarriage is going to happen. For the past two weeks I have been cramping and it's been getting slightly worse. BUT, it comes and goes. Every time I think the miscarriage is finally gonna happen, the pain lessens. I have spotted two times in the past two weeks. Every time I see blood I think it's gonna happen and then... Nothing. 

Last time I feel it happened quickly. This time, I feel like my body is playing games with me. I have refused a D and C but would like to know how long you ladies had to wait before it happened.
