Bleeding after transvaginal ultrasound

So I went today for my first ultrasound, it was pretty uncomfortable but I figured that was normal. Well we heard a strong heartbeat and although be expected a 9 week 6 day baby there was an 8 week baby on the monitor, my husband cried a little, it was an amazing experience.... well about 8 hours after the scan I started bleeding and passed a few big clots, I checked for any signs of the baby but they seemed to just be blood, the bleeding has slowed down a ton, but I can't help but be scared that it could be a miscarriage. Has anyone experienced this? Should I be scared? Idk what to think...
