I say no because if you're taking time out if your day to go through they're phone then you obviously don't trust them. It's okay to answer a text for then once in a while,  but to go through they're phone with the intent to "find something", that's not cool.  You need trust in a relationship and constantly being doubted by your S.O strains your relationship

If they have nothing to hide what's the issue? Doing it all the time might be an issue bc that makes it seem like you don't trust them but I occasionally go through my husbands phone and he never has an issue with it bc he knows I'm just doing it to settle my insecurities when they arise but it isn't often. Like I've checked it maybe 10 times in the 5 years we have been together.

Yes, I did it today actually and that niggah cheated. Don't get me wrong looking everyday is a problem but since he's been acting weird asfuck with his phone I had my reasons too and I was right. So it really depends on people's views and relationships

A man who has nothing to hide won't mind if you go through his phone. Been with a cheater before and he wouldn't let me near his phone. Soon enough I found out he was cheating. My fiancé couldn't care less. We both had finger tips on each other's phone and can do whatever we want. We have absolutely nothing to hide from one another.

Some things should be left in privacy I get that and some are more fond of their privacy then others and I get that you can trust each other with your whole hearts but if there's no secrets to hide why shouldn't one be able to look at the others phone?

My boyfriend doesn't have a cell phone, doesn't want one, but when he's on Facebook on his laptop with me in the room he lets me see the entire screen. No secrets

He knows the password to my phone and what not. He even controls Pandora when we're in the car and at anytime he could check my texts and Facebook but he trust me.  When he asks to use it sometimes I do ask why, only cause maybe I could do it, I still let him have it though

i say yes as long as they're cool with it. i'll use my bf's phone to send dumb snapchats and stuff but only while he's there so he can stop me if i'm doing stuff he doesn't like. we don't cheat but still expect respect for privacy. unless you're super suspicious of something bad, if he doesn't want you looking then decide if it's worth fighting over

I don't see anything wrong with it. But some people are more private. I use my boyfriends snapchat and take selfies but I don't intentionally snoop. Also he has the iPhone 6 so when I want to get on it I just use his thumb print so he can keep some privacy.
