Milk residue or Thrush?

I'm a FTM and I'm not sure what to look for. We were at a family gathering and someone made a comment about her tongue and now I'm wondering if I should call the doctor? Here's a picture of her tongue, is that residue or thrush? Should I just call the dr to be safe?

Use a spoon and see if you can scrape off the white stuff.  If it comes off then it's just milk.

My lactation consultant told me that thrush usually has a texture to it, whereas milk will be smooth, like a tint.

Did she just eat? Ive never delt with thrush but don't people say that it hurts? Has she been fussy at all?

If it doesn't hurt her, then it's just milk residue.
