How Did A Baby Change Your Life?

Question

I want to know how your life changed for the better AND how it changed for the worse. Do any of you regret having kids? My husband and I are thinking about having one but don't know if we should wait.

The laughter! My boys crack me up every day.  Even as tiny babies, you will find yourself laughing at their face or their attitude. It is my favorite thing about life these days.

On the downside, kids- especially more than one- will kill a social life like no other. Everything takes so much more planning that it is rarely worth the hassle. No more "grabbing a beer just because it is Tuesday".

They are totally worth it though. Dinner time at our house is way better than happy hour.

I had my daughter at 18 and alone. I was going to college full time and working full time. I quit college for 2 years. She gave me motivation to go further than expected. It was a struggle but it opened my eyes to keep pushing for the best and be a role model for her to look up to.I met my husband when she was 3 and he is her father. I am a better person because of her. She has made my life more pleasant and peaceful and have become a softer person. Before her I didn't have a care for anyone or anything.

Our daughter brought so much more love into me and my husbands life. The love that you have for your child is unlike anything else in this world. Life just seems so much better with our daughter here with us. To watch her grow and to learn things from us is so amazing.

Omg my life now that I have kids is amazing! We had our fun and had parties and got drunk etc.. but now I really feel like I'm doing what I was meant to do! Life is so fulfilling taken care of my little ones not only do I teach them but they teach me! I've grown so much and now the new friends you meet who also have kids are awesome in different ways and really understand that sometimes your just too tired to even leave the house. It's hard to really describe I just know for me personally it was the best decision I have ever made! That's why we are trying for our 3rd! Good luck and the best thing I can tell you is to just make sure your both ready for this commitment cause the first year is very tiring but very rewarding!

My daughter became my biggest adventure on Gods green earth. She's so full of love and laughter that it's contagious.

She fills our days with love and concern as if the roles have been reversed that you have to remind her that she needs to enjoy her childhood some more.

You will never have a dull day from conception to their birth and watching them grow. 😄
