sex without foreplay

So in order to really understand let me just say that my bf and I have been dating for a year, long distance at that. I notice he wasn't really into foreplay and kinda just jump into it. I have no problem with it because the sex is amazing, I just would like to explore foreplay. He really don't understand that the sex can level up way more with it. Also, he's way bigger than me in height and weight so taking control is really pretty much on his term. Any suggestions for initiating foreplay with out really trying. I've tried wrestling, tickle fights, talking to him and all.
